both get to learn! She’s learning
really fast, and she loves reading
the Bible. It’s one of her favorite
things to do.
My mom wants to learn how to
read so well that, one day, she can
be a teacher and help other people
learn how to read and write Owa.
And most importantly, she wants
to help them learn how to read the
Bible in Owa. Maybe I will teach
one day too, when I’m older!

People in the Solomon Islands are trying to help save the
endangered leatherback turtle, one of the largest turtles
on earth! It can grow up to seven feet long and weigh
more than 2,000 pounds. Leatherback turtles can dive up
to 4,200 feet deep—deeper than any other turtle—and
can stay underwater for up to 85 minutes.
