Ocean, near Australia and
Papua New Guinea.

Anyway, I’m going to tell you
a little about my language. It’s
called Owa. And I’m Isabel, by
the way. I’m so excited that
you’re learning about my people!
We have the whole New
Testament in Owa, and more
and more of us are taking
classes to learn to read and
write. The exciting thing is that
as we learn how to read, we get
to learn from the Bible itself!
I go to classes every week, and
my mom goes with me. Before
these classes, my mom didn’t
know how to read. But now that
