who speak Livvi-Karelian!
Translation of parts of the
Bible 昀椀rst started way back
in the 1800s. But it wasn’t
until 2003 that they 昀椀nally
got the New Testament.
That’s a long time to wait,
isn’t it, Mack?
Remember the story of
Jesus’ birth? People waited a
long time for Jesus to be born. And lots
of people are waiting a long time
to read that story in their own
language. Find Luke 2:1–7 in
your Bible and read it.
The words make sense to you,
because you have learned to read
them. But this is what some of that
